"These pieces are expressions of my 15 years working as a printer within the textile industry. As we are said to be moving into a post-industrial age the body of work reminds and reflects upon manufactories, the machines and people that work within them. The process I employ enables me to capture an aesthetic reminiscent of industrial environments."
Clay panels with paper and fabric inclusions, press moulded. Surface imagery applied using brick dust and metal machine waste, causing corrosion during making and firing.
